Focus and Scope
The publication covers the following fields of research in the sphere of Information and Communication Technologies (ІCТ) in education and science:

  1. Scientific, methodical, organizational and technological problems of ICT development and use in the management of higher and secondary educational institutions.
  2. Scientific, methodical, organizational and technological problems of educational software development and use in the higher and secondary educational institutions.
  3. Scientific, methodical, organizational and technological problems of creating and use of distant learning systems.
  4. Scientific, methodical and organizational problems of permanent training and retraining of specialists in computer science.
  5. Scientific, methodical, organizational and technological problems of vocational-oriented ICT usage in the teaching systems.
  6. Scientific, methodical and organizational problems of computer science future teachers training for secondary and higher school.
  7. Methodical systems of particular subjects teaching at higher and secondary school using ICT.
  8. Advanced experience of ICT use in the process of teaching and in the management of educational institutions.
  9. Scientific, methodical, organizational and technological problems of creating and use of computer-oriented teaching systems for handicapped people.
  10. Informational aspects of the integration problem of Ukrainian educational system into the educational outer space.
  11. Advanced experience in the international cooperation of Ukrainian educational institutions in the ICT sphere.
  12. Advanced experience in the organization of research work of students and pupils in the ICT sphere.
  13. Scientific, methodical, organizational and technological problems of ICT specialists training system adaptation to requirements of the modern labor market.

Publication Charges
Review, peer review and publication of articles in the collection "Information Technologies in Education" are free. No fees will be charged from the authors.

Peer Review Process
1. The collection of scientific papers "Information Technologies in Education" accepts the scientific articles on relevant topics. The materials that do not meet requirements of the subject matter or publication may be rejected by the Chief Editor of the collection at once.
2. The journal staff follows the worldwide standards of transparency of the review process and in this connection the given edition is practicing double "blind" peer reviewing of manuscripts.
3. The articles submitted to the journal during the week are sent for reviewing by two independent experts. The reviewer gets acquainted with the abstract of the paper and after that accepts or rejects to review presented material. In case of refusal during a few days another reviewer is appointed.
4. During two weeks the reviewers get acquainted with the material and assess its scientific level, completing the "Peer Review Form", which sent than to the author by the editorial staff.
5. In the presented form the reviewers point out their comments and upload files with corrections or materials that can be used in refining the article.
6. After filling out the basic "Peer Review Form" the experts choose one of the suggested recommendations:
• Accept the article - the manuscript is ready for publication and is accepted without changes
• Need to fix - is accepted if the author will fix pointed comments
• Return on re-reviewing - need to be refined and re-reviewed
• Send to another journal - the subject of the manuscript is suitable to another edition
• Reject the article - the manuscript does not meet requirements of the publication
7. After the process of reviewing finished all the relevant information is sent to the author. Within 1-2 weeks the author fixes the article and loads the new version to the journal’s system. If after the indicated date the article was not returned (or not informed about the delay to the editor) – the article is dequeued and deleted.
Appeal process:
• If the author does not agree with the certain comments of the reviewer, he has the right to appeal to the editor in the format "notes of reviewer - comment of author." This document is sent to the reviewer and together with the editor appropriate decision regarding the manuscript is accepted.
• If the reviewers select mutually antithetical resolutions on the submitted manuscript (accept / reject), the editor appoints an independent expert.

Publication Frequencys
Electronic scientific journal "ITE" is published 6 times a year. Estimated date of publishing:
• No. 1 – in late September
• No. 2 - in late December
• No. 3 - in late April
• No. 4 - in late June
COMPLETION OF OUTLETS: Article submissions are constant. Only those materials can be printed that have been reviewed and received a positive comment. Each issue is approved by the Academic Board of the University.

Open Access Policy
The journal provides the readers with the content as the instant free access licensed by the Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported (CC BY-ND-SA 3.0). Users have the ability to read, download, copy and distribute the content with non-profit educational and scientific purpose and with affiliation.

Archiving
Additionally, all files are stored in the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, Kiev, Ukraine.
